Social Netwar and Industrial Conflict (2001)
This paper (Social Netwar and Industrial Conflict) was originally published in 2001 as an Information Management Research in Progress paper when I was in the School of Information Management at Leeds Metropolitan University. Sadly, the School (neither, indeed, is the Faculty in which it resided). As far as I can see the RIP series have been sent to, well, RIP (I know, but I couldn’t resist it). The paper looks at some of the early cybercampaigns of the ICEM as an example of asymmetric informational conflict (drawing on Arquilla & Ronfeldt’s work).
